Hi there! I'm Misty Swanson, owner of Kingdom Travel and Certified Faith Based Travel Advisor. In addition to my expertise in faith-based travel, I am also a member of American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) and Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). Membership in these organizations ensures Kingdom Travel stays updated on the latest travel trends and requirements. Creating memorable itineraries and travel experiences for my clients is one of my greatest joys!

How I got here...
After working in corporate America and planning trips for family and friends for more than 20 years, I followed my passion and God’s direction to start a travel business to help others explore the world while sharing joy and faith. Being a travel advisor gives me the opportunity to use my God-given attention to detail to navigate all of the nuances of the trip planning process. I now have the wonderful pleasure of blending two things I love - travel and helping people.

I am a proud native Texan with a big, contagious laugh, full of joy and wife to my amazing husband, Greg. We reside in Heartland, Texas, where we attend and serve at our local church and are living a blessed life together.

Travel has always been at the heart of my most treasured memories. We enjoyed exploring the U.S., venturing internationally, scuba diving, water skiing and snow skiing, karate, and foodie events. Now I help others create their own unforgettable moments, combining my passion for exploration with my expertise in planning to ensure every journey is as memorable as it is effortless.​

With nearly 40 years of experience managing complex programs at Lockheed Martin, I learned that details matter. I bring the same attention to detail, organization, and commitment to excellence to every travel experience I design.

My wonderful husband, Joe, and I have a growing family of children and grandchildren who bring us so much joy. We made it to North Texas by way of Arkansas and Louisiana, where we attend and serve at our local church.
